This week, Stimson Middle School was abuzz with the sounds of music, joy, and holiday spirit!
Our 7th and 8th-grade students showcased their many talents during the much-anticipated Winter Concert, held at Walt Whitman High School. From stunning vocal harmonies to masterful instrumental performances, the students delivered an unforgettable evening of entertainment. The dedication, hard work, and passion of our young musicians and performers were truly inspiring—congratulations to everyone who participated!
Earlier in the week, Stimson was honored to host Walt Whitman's Voices vocal group. Their beautiful holiday carols filled our dimly lit forum with warmth and festive cheer, creating a magical atmosphere.
Thank you to all who made these events possible, from our talented students and dedicated teachers to the families and community members who continue to support the arts at Stimson Middle School.

Computer Programming with PYTHON!
​
Students in Mr. Lipponer's Digital Technology class recently completed their computer programming unit utilizing the Python programming language. Students learned basic foundations of python, variable creation, boolean expressions, and using functions as part of a large program. The first annual "Lippy's Crown" was awarded to recognize exceptional student performance. A huge Congratulations to: Sabrina Moser (period 1), Ella Gorman and Evelyn Puerta (period 2), Gerardo Marroquin and Elly Srp (period 3), Peter Massone (period 5), and Celena Fusaro (period 8)! Well done, everybody!

Welcome to Breakfast at Stimson
​

This school year our Nutrition Program will be providing both breakfast and lunch meals at no charge to all of our students. For school arrival each morning, we have placed kiosks at the different entrances to the building; each one stocked with breakfast choices for our students. The locations were chosen to make sure everyone can "grab" a quick breakfast and be on their way to homeroom in a timely fashion. 

Make your family mornings a bit less hectic and join us for breakfast !!
