It has been a truly eventful week at Stimson Middle School as our students engaged with powerful stories and cutting-edge technology.
Our 8th graders recently spent time with Mr. Halligan, who shared a touching and deeply personal story about the risks and consequences of bullying. This session provided a space for reflection on the importance of kindness and the lasting impact of our actions toward one another.
In the science wing, we welcomed Mr. Ferraco and a talented group of Walt Whitman High School research students. They brought along their impressive robotic dog to give our classes a hands-on look at engineering in action. Along with the demonstration, they shared insights into the high school science research program, giving our students a glimpse into the exciting academic opportunities that await them in the future.
Lastly, we want to celebrate the students who represented Stimson at the first annual district technology showcase last week. Their hard work and innovation were on full display, highlighting the creative ways our school is embracing new tools and ideas.
