What a week it has been at Stimson! The halls are still buzzing, and honestly, the energy on Oakwood Road is through the roof. From the Netherworld taking over our stage to the global vibes in our classrooms, there is a lot to celebrate in this week.
The production of Beetlejuice Jr. officially wrapped this Sunday, and spectacular does not even begin to cover it. The talent was undeniable! A huge shoutout goes to the stage crew and tech team! Congratulations to the directors and the entire production team for such a successful and deadly run.
We also took a trip around the globe without ever leaving Huntington Station. This past week was a vibrant celebration of World Cultures and Languages, reminding us all of the beautiful diversity that makes our school special. Morning melodies started each day with greetings and announcements in the many different languages represented by our student body, while the hallways were transformed with posters and projects detailing traditions from every corner of the earth.
Our student-athletes have been leaving it all on the mats and the courts lately. As we transition into the heart of the spring season, the momentum is undeniable. The modified wrestling team showed incredible heart in their recent matches, demonstrating top-tier sportsmanship and technique regardless of the final score. Meanwhile, the energy in the gym for modified volleyball has been electric, with teamwork and communication reaching new heights. A reminder for all families that registration for spring sports like Lacrosse, Baseball, and Softball is in full swing.
