Stimson Spotlight

Welcome to the end of our first month at Stimson Middle School! It has been a fantastic start to the school year, filled with energy, enthusiasm, and great community spirit.
Over the past few weeks, our students settled into their routines and participated in our monthly expectation assemblies, setting a positive and focused tone for the year ahead. Our fall sports season is officially underway, and it has been wonderful seeing our Wildcat athletes back out on the field representing Stimson with pride. Looking ahead, our 7th graders are gearing up for their upcoming class elections, where student leaders will step forward to represent their peers.
We also have a couple of exciting events right around the corner next week. We will be having our very first "No Technology Day", giving our students a great opportunity to disconnect from screens and engage in hands-on learning and interaction. Plus, our PTA Book Fair will be open, offering students a chance to browse and pick out some fantastic new reads.
Thank you to all of our students, staff, and families for making September such a seamless and memorable month. We are thrilled with the momentum we have built so far and look forward to continuing this exciting, action-packed school year together!

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month

From September 15 through October 15, Stimson is proud to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month! Throughout the month, we recognize and honor the rich cultures, traditions, histories, and contributions of our Hispanic and Latino families and communities. Celebrating the diverse backgrounds that make up Stimson is an important part of building a school community where every student and family feels welcomed, valued, and represented.

Get ready to make your voices heard! Our 7th grade student elections are right around the corner. Candidates are hard at work designing posters and fine-tuning their speeches. We cannot wait to see our future leaders step up, bring big ideas to the table, and make a fantastic impact at Stimson Middle School!

Cell Phone Policy Updates

Stimson students may not use their cell phones during the school day. Students MUST secure their phones in their lockers at the start of the school day where it will be stored until dismissal. We will be communicating this to students regularly throughout the month of September. As of October 1st, any student found with their cell phone during the school day will have their phone taken and held until a parent or guardian can pick it up from school. Additional instances will result in detention.
